"Heavy Metal" Cover Design Contest

This was my submission to the Threadless "Heavy Metal" cover design contest. I based the imagery on a very strange and potent dream I experienced in November 2005. I replaced myself with the female figure in the artwork; effectively my anima. I really enjoy this imagery and may take the color treatment to a more highly detailed, digitally painted style in the future. ©2016-2021 John Ashton Golden.
